The Finger Lakes region is an area of unusual beauty highlighted by a remarkable number of glorious waterfalls—some highly visible and majestic and others hidden and subtle—and these photographs are the result of years visiting and revisiting these falls, expertly capturing their changing faces with the changing seasons. Within two miles, the glen's stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The water has gradually carved the rocks over thousands of years.
