Well, plot-wise, everything came together nicely, but I was a bit disappointed in the execution. Some of the monsters are simplistic with complicated names, but they get better as it goes along. I'm so glad I finished this series and I can't wait to start the Heroes of Olympus next year! Percy want to stop Kronos from destroying Olympus on the other hand Kronos wants to destroy Olympus and get rid of the gods forever. It's been five years since I first read it, and that ending still makes me tear up. Luke's backstory was probably the most interesting, since he's the series antagonist. Out of these five days, two days I didn't read at all as I spent them with family.
