Dark Lover, Book 1:The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. Her voice soothes him, and her scent is clean and refreshing. And he made the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep her safe. That had been a couple of days ago, and tonight Bella had planned to ask how things had gone. Her strength never ceased to amaze me. They are a group of vampires and humans kinda who fight soulless humans.
A chill shot through him, sucking the warmth out of his body. Which made his gag reflex fire up. But then Mary came to his life and changed his world. She stood up to Zadist and Vishious. This book, I truly enjoyed.
You don't see much of wrath either, but that's ok. Get your hand off my throat and let me go or I'm going to knee you where it counts. It was very cleverly done. Because sadistic bastards and pink fluffy bunnies don't mix well. Ward doesn't describe her but I'm pretty sure she was hot as hell. Rhage and his Beast love food. What would she call them then? Well, not now, but maybe next month.
But he has his reasons. The Black Dagger Brotherhood owns me now. . Together they headed for her back door, shoes in hand, bare feet leaving wet prints on the chilly flagstone around the pool. This book is about Rhage and Mary and their relationship. It was just as awesome as book one maybe a bit more awesome because there was so much Z in it and I am head over heels for Z! I don't like Ward's depiction of women, nor do I like the whole bonding experience. Females generally do not take more than one mate due to the highly territorial nature of bonded males.
Up until then, they're easily cowed damsels who gasp and flutter and lament their unattractiveness. Even though Rhage knows he can't make any commitment to a woman like Mary, he needs to have her, whatever it takes. God he really was beautiful. Within the brotherhood, Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetites. Because this book blossoms into the next story, it was an easy decision for me to move right on to the next book in the series.
Exists in a nontemporal realm and has extensive powers, though not the power of creation. She is compassionate and caring, going above and beyond to help someone in need. Hey, this is actually answered in the book. I love the Brotherhood books, always will, and it was such a treat to go back and revisit one of the early stories. It's insta-love on steroids, and I Love It!! Like any good thrill ride, the pace changes with a tender story of survival and hope and leaves readers begging for more.
In my old life I could have arrested me for stalking. He didn't ask any questions, just wrapped himself around her. Ward Well, I had my heart broken several times reading this book and cried through most of it but could not put it down. I was seriously liking what I was reading. Just like I did yesterday. Instead there was a lot of eye-rolling and innappropriate laughter. She wants to live out the short life that she has in peace.
That redhead looked like serious stuff. And while their enemies close in, Mary fights desperately to gain life eternal with the one she loves. Their relationship is so sweet and tender. One of the lessers, O, was twisted and sick as fuck. I want my head between your legs so I can lick you until you scream my name. I loved how hard Rhage fell for Mary.
