Black Oni is Guapo's most monumentally unreserved offering to date. I did not think the vegetables were cooked well. The guacamole was super good with chunks of avocados and very tasty. I'm giving a two star because the chips were light and crispy and the tres leches cake wasn't overly leched though I'm pretty sure the topping might have been cool whip. Service is fairly fast depending on what day and time of the day you are there.
The service was also very good. The place wasn't busy at all so I guess it could be a sign. I've been going to Guapo's for years. With Reverso you can find the Spanish translation, definition or synonym for guapo and thousands of other words. I know it sounds crazy but their steak is amazing-steak dinner, fajitas, and you can ask for steak carnitas! We sat by the bar and I just want to base this review from 2 other Guapos restaurants I've been to. We weren't expecting such a big pitcher but.
The enchiladas were delicious and seasoned perfectly, the chile rellenos were large and tasted great, quesadillas and salads looked great, and the fajitas were sizzling and fragrant. All related to the modern gay men and women, and of course with the orientation towards Gran Canaria, as well as the holiday island as a beauty as it is. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Would 100% come back again! The Mexican dishes are quite delicious. On entering the establishment, I was immediately impressed with the crowd, the evident mix of clients eager for the experience, and the warm authenticity of the decor.
It makes for an overall good dining experience. Service was excellent and my meal had a great flavor it's just the Brochettes did not have the kick I enjoy. It was lacking flavor and the texture was so off. Their extensive ceviche menu is very interesting; we tried the grilled octopus tentacles.
The servers are all very professional and very attentive. My favorite place for fun and tasty Mexican food. And I've had larger parties in the bar area, and the servers are always very patient. Podría ser muy guapo si quisiera. After a long hiatus, I returned to Guapo's based on a positive review in the paper.
I personally love the guava margarita because people don't know what guava is and I order it so somewhat show off I've actually had real guava fruit before hahaha! My table guest ordered several different items so we just had a lil banquet sharing and loving every bite! Hopefully we will get a chance to come back during cinco de mayo which I'm sure will be quite lively and festive. The salsa that came to the table was a delicious and very fresh chunky salsa. Service is friendly and professional. Guapo Gran Canaria, is your Gay Gran Canaria website! The flour tortillas were so soft and fresh.
I have also tried the ceviche omg bomb , and you should definitely try it!!! We were a large group of 8 people and waited about an hour for our table. Service was friendly but a little slow probably. Heady and hypnotic, driving and relentless, tumultuous and visceral, sonic and serene, the sheer odyssey that is Black Oni encompasses many paradoxes in its massively dynamic scope. There was one dairy and one banking establishment.
My friends commented saying it was just like a pineapple and strawberry milkshake! We had margaritas and they tasted good, well balanced - not too much alcohol and not too sweet. Hope enough people complain so they bring back our very much loved and missed Traditional Ceviche! The night did become progressively busier as time went on. Drinks are good as well. The tortillas keep really well. Since the serving sizes are generous we decided to split a ropa viejo which is a staple comfort food with the shredded beef peppers and fried plantains. So we got the guacamole and sadly, it wasn't a good guacamole.
